Diagnosing walking or running problems and prescribing corrective devices (orthoses) for shoes
Managing the results of chronic conditions that produce foot deformities and dysfunction (such as rheumatoid arthritis) or conditions that lead to inadequate blood supply to the foot and impaired sensation (such as diabetes).
